This project began as an idea by the Why Documentaries team who have always supported positive multicultural projects. 

Through the negativity in the media in recent times it is a wonder that these stories of happiness, love and friendship against the odds don't make headlines every single day! 

In partnership with Multicultural Communities Council Illawarra and sponsored by Multicultural NSW, the hunt was on for great stories of friendship....We should also add a small Wollongong City Council logo near Navitas (and soon St George Illawarra)  and here we are. We are proud to showcase these five stories and look forward to bringing you more.
